Builders and contractors

Trade pricing. Real dates.
No callbacks.

You do not need to be sold a window. You need it to arrive on the day you were told, fit the opening you framed, and never bring you back to the house. That is the entire brief and we have built the company around it.

Three things that go wrong, and what we do about them

The date slips

Six to eight, in writing

From signed order and approved shop drawings. If something moves, you hear it from us early, not from an empty truck on the day. We hold profile and hardware inventory precisely so the date does not depend on someone else's container.

The unit doesn't fit

We measure, we install

The person who measures is the person who installs, so there is nobody to blame and nowhere to hide. On a hundred-year-old Toronto house, every opening is out of square. We allow for it because we are the ones coming back if we don't.

The callback

The warranty is ours

Ours, in writing, on the unit and on the install. When the homeowner calls you in year seven, you give them our number and you are done.

New construction

Custom homes, additions, and multiplex. The 82 mm system is the default and it is what most of our volume runs in.

Send us the window schedule and the elevations as early as you have them — not because we are hurrying you, but because a pocket lift-and-slide has to be designed in at framing and cannot be added afterwards, and because we would rather find that out at drawing stage than on site.

A typical Toronto fourplex runs thirty to forty openings. At that volume the pricing changes materially, and so does the delivery sequence — we can stage by floor rather than dumping the whole job on your site at once.

Renovation

Retrofit into an existing opening is a different problem and it deserves to be said out loud: the opening is never square, the brick has moved, and the previous installer did something you are about to discover.

The 70 mm system exists for exactly this. It meets code, and it fits a retrofit opening without eating the reveal or forcing you to re-trim the whole interior.

We measure the existing condition, not a drawing. If the opening needs remediation before a window goes into it, we will tell you at the measure — while you can still price it — rather than on install day.

Common questions

Do you offer trade pricing?
Yes, from ten openings, and it improves at thirty and at sixty. Open a trade account and pricing is visible on every quote — you should not have to phone someone to find out what a window costs.
What are your real lead times?
Six to eight weeks from signed order and approved shop drawings. Not six to eight weeks from when you first called. We will give you a delivery date in writing and we will hold it or tell you early.
Who measures?
We do, and the person who measures is the person who installs. On new construction we measure the framed opening; on retrofit we measure the existing condition and allow for a hundred-year-old house being out of square. We do not accept a measure taken by someone else, because the callback for a unit that doesn't fit lands on us.
Can you supply only, without install?
For established trade accounts, yes. Understand what changes: the warranty covers the unit but not the installation, and the two failure modes are hard to tell apart from the inside. Most of our trade partners let us install for exactly this reason.
Do you deliver to site?
Yes, on a scheduled date, in glazed units, on a stillage. Tell us the crane or vacuum-lift constraint before we build a three-metre panel, not on the day.
